Web Developer - PHP Laravel

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve company websites and Laravel/PHP-based applications.
• Build responsive pages, campaign landing pages and new features based on business requirements.
• Manage WordPress websites and Shopify stores, including content, themes, plugins, apps and product updates.
• Manage website deployment and routine maintenance on Hostinger; maintain domains, DNS, SSL certificates, databases and backups.
• Integrate and maintain third-party APIs, payment gateways and other external services.
• Diagnose and fix bugs, broken links, website errors and hosting issues; improve speed, usability and mobile responsiveness.
• Apply basic website security practices, perform updates and verify that changes work correctly before release.
• Coordinate with marketing, design and other teams to deliver website updates and campaign requirements.
• Maintain basic technical documentation, provide progress updates and complete assigned work within agreed deadlines. Education
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science \& Engineering, Computer Engineering
• Diploma in Engineering in Computer Science \& Engineering Experience
• 2 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): E-commerce, IT Enabled Service, Travel Agency Additional Requirements
• Age 22 to 35 years
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Good communication, task prioritization and willingness to learn.
• Git/GitHub, basic UI/UX, technical SEO and testing knowledge will be considered advantages. Mandatory Technical Requirements
• PHP, Laravel and MySQL: Practical ability to develop and maintain web applications, implement database-driven features and troubleshoot application and database issues.
• WordPress: Ability to build, customize and maintain websites, manage themes and plugins, update content and resolve common technical issues.
• Shopify: Practical ability to set up and manage stores, customize themes, manage products and collections, and configure relevant apps and store settings.
• Hostinger: Hands-on ability to manage and maintain hosted websites through hPanel, including deployment, domains and DNS, SSL certificates, databases, backups and restoration.
• Third-party API integration: Ability to integrate and troubleshoot REST APIs, payment gateways and external services, including authentication, data exchange and error handling.
• Frontend development: Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS to build responsive, user-friendly pages. Optional Technical Skills
