Staff Engineer, Client Relations (Pre-sales Engineer)

We’re Hiring: Staff Engineer, Client Relations (Pre-sales Engineer) Dhaka, Bangladesh | Full-time | A Renowned Software Firm Most of our new work starts with a tender, an RFI, a partner lead or a prototype. We’re looking for a senior engineer who can turn those opportunities into well-scoped, winnable engagements and then stay the client’s trusted technical contact after the deal is signed. You’ll report directly to the CTO and work closely with sales, channel partners and delivery teams. What you’ll do

• Lead technical discovery with prospects: goals, constraints, existing systems, data, compliance and success measures
• Design solution architecture, module inventories, assumptions and exclusions for every proposal
• Write the technical sections of proposals, RFI/RFP responses, SOWs and change orders
• Build bottom-up effort estimates in person-days and reconcile them with pricing, milestones and margin
• Review contracts for scope creep, acceptance terms, IP and data clauses before signature
• Build rapid demos and proofs of concept using AI-assisted tooling
• Run client workshops and technical presentations, both in person and online
• Hand won deals to delivery with a complete pack, and stay the senior technical contact through steering calls, escalations and expansion What you bring
• 10+ years in software engineering with hands-on delivery of production systems
• 3+ years in pre-sales, solution architecture or technical account management
• A portfolio of proposals or tender responses, with at least two won and delivered
• Bottom-up estimation skills you can defend with both clients and delivery teams
• Hands-on ability to build a proof of concept yourself with modern AI tooling
• Excellent English, and comfort presenting to C-level and government audiences Bonus points for experience with US, EU, Middle East or Africa clients, channel or white-label partners, public-sector or banking tenders, Arabic, German or French language skills, and AWS, Azure, GCP or TOGAF certifications.
